War... There are not enough words in our vocabulary to describe the pain in our souls. Ruined destinies, dreams, and hopes of our children. We are fighting, but we also need a lot of moral and financial support from around the world. We are grateful to the "Creators for Ukraine" for the care and financial support.
Part of the received funds I forwarded to my "Kuzma Skryabin Charitable Foundation" fund. The funds have been used to purchase very needed medications for people in Kharkiv, who were trapped in basements for weeks. Our fund "Kuzma Skryabin Charitable Foundation" has been established by our family in memory of my husband, musician and composer Andriy Kuzmenko, who sadly died in a car crash in 2015. Our team, and my daughter in particular, who is a doctor, are collecting funds to support and purchase medication for hospitals, maternity units, and also private individuals.
We are all fighting for our freedom and for our country. Everyone in their own way. We very much need your support on our tough way to peace.
The Kuzma Scriabin Charitable Foundation also began raising funds to support Ukrainian media outlets affected by Russian aggression. The beginning of this initiative was marked by a cover of Kuzma Scriabin's famous song "Places of Happy People": https://youtu.be/LfdsJyIw3CU.
Ukrainian musicians sang it, replacing names of European cities in the text with hotspots in the Russian-Ukrainian war: Kyiv, Irpin, Kharkiv, Mariupol, Kherson.
